Kitchen updates

While Jessie was spending the day enduring a scary trip thru Babies R Us, I ripped down the old ceiling tile in our kitchen. We're going to have a new counter top and ceiling tile installed in a couple weeks and I was doing the demo (my favorite). It was apparent why the old plaster ceiling was covered up as soon as the first tile removed. I huge fist sized hole was to the left of the light, caused by a tub leak some years ago.

We're replacing the light fixture with a min-ceiling fan. I also wired a new light over the stove. It will be nice to see what's cooking without a miners hat.
