Bittersweet Gathering

This past week brought sad news to our family. Jessie's Uncle Larry passed away, quite unexpectedly, on July 19. He will be missed by us all. He will be remembered whenever any of us hears the strains of a polka, a laughing chuckle or an ornery story. The family gathered in Bath, PA this past weekend. There were travelers from Canada, Michigan, Ohio, Virginia, North Carolina and Washington DC. It was so nice to be surrounded by family. Everyone had stories to tell and fond memories to share. He enjoyed life and family. We have gone through some picture files and found some good shots of Larry. Many of the pictures we found showed Larry and his wife, Anne, dancing and laughing. This is how I will remember him.
