What a spring!!

To say we have been busy is both an understatement and a misnomer. We had a busy May (Mel's wedding, Brown Family Vacation), but where in the world is June going???? Seriously, I look at the clock and am amazed at the huge jumps it makes-crazy.

Mel & Scott got married May 16th in Maryland. It was a beautiful day! The car trip there was NOT beautiful. We tried driving thru the night. It rained-buckets, build-an-ark type rain most of the way. Maddie cried, so Momma spent the majority of the trip squeezed in next to the car seat trying to keep Maddie occupied/soothed so she didn't throw up everywhere. Again. Oh well, lesson learned. We won't drive a strange route witha crying toddler at night agin, nor will we ever take a vacation where we stay in a hotel. I just about went bonkers!

The trip to the beach was much smoother. Yayyy! Our little munchkin took to the water like she was born in the surf. Thank God David thought to buy a life vest before we left! It was so nice to be able to just relax. Dada and Momma even got in a date where Momma had the best scallop dish ever. I wanted to put my face in the bowl. Pregnancy will grant you certain license to do weird things, but probably doesn't go that far!
