A Level 3-Really??

Who knew that we would actually get snow this past weekend?!? The weather guys here in Columbus have been predicting "huge winter storms" at least every 2 weeks since Christmas. We end up with 35 degrees and rain. Well, everybody knows a blind squirrel will eventually find a nut, and so it went his past weekend in the weather department.

David and I had booked a weekend in the Hocking Hills ages ago and nothing, I repeat, nothing was going to keep me away from a hot tub and a few bottles of wine! We dropped Munchkin off at my parents' house and headed south. We did see a few cars overturned and some in fields, but wrote it off to jackassery on Rt 23. We did get a chuckle seeing a sheriff almost wipe out-is that wrong?

The cabin and scenery was bee-uu-tee-full! We tried to go to Old Man's Cave on Saturday, but the snow kept us close. Oh well-more time in the hot tub! Jameson loved the snow. He wasn't a big fan of the thunder and lightning Friday night. It is kind of comical to see a 65 pound dog try to wedge into a 4 inch gap between the bed and night stand. Poor puppy!

Wheeeee!!

Pretty view of ravine/creek?

My favorite view...
