Was that plant there last week?

You know you've been to the OB's office too much when you notice Tuesday is Florance's red shirt and heels day.

Everything checked out fine today. Jessie's still 3.9 cm (up from 3.6 last Thursday) dilated but 80% effaced. The head's dropped more and things are 'looking very normal'. When asked how big the doc thought the baby was, she responded, 'large, about 8 pounds or so'.

I tried to put that in perspective. A quick Google search for eight pounds revealed this image


and a quote from Jerry Maguire: "D'you know that the human head weighs 8 pounds?"
